The sides of this sand garden are made of 3/4" pine with built-in rake storage. The bottom is 1/4" MDF (medium density fiber board) with black painted edging. The sides are stained a yellow brown Mahogany and then a gloss polyurethane finish is applied.

The garden comes with a gift box and includes sand, five river stones, a tea candle, and an angled Oak handle rake which I also make to texture the surface of the sand. Felt pads are attached underneath to protect surfaces. The garden measures 9 1/2 inches (23 cm) square by 1 3/16 inches (3 cm) deep. The total height of the garden is 1 1/2 inches (5.7 cm).
